Gabe Brabec brings strike-throwing grit and Friday-night poise to Gonzaga’s rotation
In the 2025 season, Gabe Brabec gave Gonzaga a sturdy right-handed arm, posting a 6.47 ERA over 40.1 innings while making 12 appearances and seven starts, and he showed he could work deep enough to give the bullpen a breather. His calling card is the kind of low-drama competitiveness coaches love: he arrived after a dominant Linn-Benton CC run with a 1.11 ERA, 99 strikeouts in 72.2 innings, and a .123 opponent average in 2024. He looks like a fit for teams that value strike-throwing, mound composure, and a pitcher who can grow into more than just a stat line.
