Not a Player—A Coaching Rising Star
I need to clarify: Alec Abeln isn't a college athlete. He's a coaching professional currently serving as Tennessee's Tight Ends Coach (as of 2026). A Missouri graduate (2018), Abeln has built expertise developing tight end talent—in 2024, his TE group was instrumental in Tennessee's offense ranking 15th nationally at 447.0 yards per game. He's known for detailed film work, player development, and media communication. If you're researching him as a potential coaching hire or analyst, he's proven capable of maximizing tight end production at a Power conference level.
