veteran Bethune-Cookman guard known for steady ball movement
Troy Simmons is a seasoned Bethune-Cookman guard whose value shows up in his distribution and experience more than flash; in the 2024-25 season, ESPN listed him at 1.9 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game with a 27.4% field-goal mark, while older profile data shows career numbers that suggest a low-usage, pass-first role[2][12]. He stands out as a veteran organizer who can steady an offense, but the shot profile raises questions about scoring efficiency, so he fits best as a depth guard or culture piece rather than a primary creator[1][2].
