Navy Guard Mimi Schrader: Senior Captain with Elite Leadership, Not Elite Stats
Mimi Schrader, a senior guard and team captain for the Navy Midshipmen, is defined by her **unmatched leadership** and **intensity** rather than her on-court statistics (3.7 PPG, 28.6% FG in the 2023-24 season). While her shooting numbers are modest, she is a **differentiator** for teams seeking a **veteran voice** who balances **Ocean Engineering** with basketball, bringing a **disciplined, high-intensity personality** to every possession. Her **injury history** is clean, and her **wise, welcoming demeanor** (evident in her interactions with former Wayzata teammates) makes her a **perfect fit** for teams needing a **culture-setter** who elevates teammates through **trust and experience**, even if she isn't a primary scoring option. You should care because she is the **anchor** of Navy's program, proving that **character** often outweighs raw stats in building a winning team.
