developmental edge rusher with size and upside at Western Michigan
Waymon Ross is a long, physical **defensive end** prospect for Western Michigan whose recruiting profile listed him at **6-2, 225** and whose best selling point is frame-based upside rather than proven production.[1][4][5] Publicly available team and stat pages do not show current-season game output, so the appeal is in his developmental profile: if he converts his size into consistent leverage, pursuit, and pass-rush pressure, he fits as a projectable front-seven piece rather than an immediate stat-sheet star.[3][5]
