Laura Povilonyte gives Gardner-Webb a versatile frontcourt spark
Povilonyte has shown real scoring upside for Gardner-Webb, highlighted by a career-high 24 points and 9 rebounds in one outing, plus a steady ability to contribute as a creator with multiple-assist games. That blend of inside scoring and passing makes her more than a traditional post player and suggests a fit for teams that want frontcourt versatility and touch. The main question is consistency on a struggling Gardner-Webb team, but her flashes point to a player with usable offensive skill and competitive production when the offense flows.
