Baden Pinson brings compact, short-yardage punch to Coastal Carolina's backfield
Pinson is a **physical, low-center-of-gravity running back** who has carved out a role as a short-yardage and special-teams contributor at Coastal Carolina, and his production profile suggests a reliable, role-specific fit rather than a high-volume feature back.[6][7] In the 2024 season, he logged **28 carries for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns** at Coastal Carolina, while earlier at Tiffin he showed he can handle a larger workload, producing **214 rushing yards and 5 catches for 58 yards in 2021**.[7][8] The value here is toughness, downhill intent, and versatility in the margins—useful if your team wants a back who can finish runs, protect the ball, and do the dirty work without needing a ton of touches.[6][7]
