FIU forward James Ametepe is a glue-guy veteran with academic chops and quiet defensive utility
Ametepe’s FIU profile shows a low-usage forward who has brought energy, rebounding flashes, and some on-ball disruption in limited minutes, while his earlier seasons included a career-high 7 points in a game and multiple steals against Carver.[3] He was a Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection and is a biomedical engineering major, which fits the picture of a disciplined, team-first player rather than a stat-stuffer.[3][4] If you want a smart, physical depth forward who can compete, absorb coaching, and provide bench minutes without needing the ball, he is the kind of fit that helps a roster in non-glamorous ways.[3][4]
