Drew Grumbles is giving Boston College steady midweek innings with strike-throwing polish
In the 2026 season, Boston College RHP Drew Grumbles has emerged as a reliable starter/rotation piece, opening strong with a 5.0-inning, 1-hit shutout at FIU and later logging multiple efficient starts, including a two-inning, one-run outing in the home opener. The Johns Hopkins transfer brings a competitive, low-drama profile: he already owns a Conference Pitcher of the Year track record from Division III, flashes the ability to miss bats, and looks the part of a strike-thrower who can stabilize a staff. If you want toughness, experience, and clean innings, he’s a fit.
