Elijah Buchanan brings size, shot-making, and veteran scoring punch to NJIT
In the 2023-24 season, Elijah Buchanan was NJIT’s Team MVP and one of the Highlanders’ most reliable all-around guards, averaging 13.2 points and 5.8 rebounds while starting 18 of 22 games.[1][6] He’s a 6-foot-5 guard with a scorer’s frame who can hit threes, attack the rim, and rebound like a wing-sized forward, which makes him more than a box-score guy.[1][6] His best fit is a team that wants an older, physical perimeter creator who can handle pressure and produce without needing the offense built around him.[1][3]
