Caden Ward brings a big-body TE frame and a high-motor Nebraska pedigree to NDSU
Caden Ward enters North Dakota State as a 6-3, 230-pound freshman tight end from Lincoln Southeast, where he was a three-year starter, all-conference pick, and four-time academic all-conference selection. In his senior year, he posted 26 catches for 326 yards and five touchdowns, and he also showed toughness on defense with 47 tackles and two sacks. The fit is obvious: Ward looks like a physical, dependable in-line tight end with versatility, consistency, and the kind of disciplined, team-first profile NDSU usually loves.
