7-foot-2 Clemson center Catalin Baciu brings size, rim protection and low-post value
Baciu was a true interior presence for Clemson, listed at 7-foot-2 and 255 pounds, and he gave the Tigers a big-body option at center with size that naturally changes shots and spacing around the rim.[2][4] In his Clemson career, he was a modest scorer and rebounder statistically, but his real value was as a physical paint defender and screen-setter whose frame and length made him a useful matchup piece rather than a featured offensive option.[1][4] For a team needing size, discipline and a traditional center body, he fit best as a role player who could anchor the middle and stay in his lane.[2][4]
