Versatile, high-upside Iowa defender with multiple-position juice
Roberts is intriguing because he’s viewed as a multi-sport, multi-position athlete with size, speed, and the kind of “fly-around” mentality Iowa covets. The most useful scouting note is his versatility: he’s been described as capable of fitting at linebacker, safety, corner, and on special teams, which screams role-player upside if he lands in the right system. He looks like a fit for a defense that values toughness, adaptability, and disruptive athleticism over pure measurables.
