Nick Weiss brings a power-frame righty profile with blue-collar high school credentials
Nick Weiss is a 6-foot-3, 195-pound freshman RHP for Ohio who arrives with a strong prep resume: 2025 First Team All-Ohio, back-to-back conference and district player-of-the-year honors, and a Big Walnut record for single-season wins and strikeouts. That combination points to a pitcher who already knows how to compete, miss bats, and handle big moments. The fit looks appealing for a staff that values size, durability, and upside—especially if he can translate his high-school ace intensity into consistent college command.
