Massachusetts product Josh Samuda was a sturdy, technically sound interior OL with power and pass-protection value
Samuda’s UMass film and testing profile point to a **reliable interior lineman**: he started 30 college games, helped the Minutemen allow just 36 sacks over his 33-game stretch, and posted strong pre-draft measurables for a guard, including 32 bench reps and a 5.08-second forty at 6-3, 312.[5][7] His differentiator was consistency in the trenches rather than flash, with enough functional strength to anchor and enough movement skills to fit a pro-style run game.[5][7] The main caution is durability: his NFL career was interrupted by a severe ankle injury in 2014 that required surgery and long rehab.[11][13][14]
