Ty Scott brings three-star pedigree and a physical edge to WKU’s secondary
In the 2026 season, Ty Scott enters Western Kentucky’s defensive back room as a 6-3, 200-pound safety with three-star recruiting credentials and a reputation for physical play and special-teams value.[14][1] He was a decorated prep defender at Palmetto High and arrives with the kind of size, length, and downhill temperament that can make him a fit for a defense looking for tacklers who can also cover ground.[14][5] There are no college statistics available yet, so the appeal is projection: a long, tough DB who should bring juice, versatility, and room to develop.
