Markus Clark brings veteran size and steady interior run defense to Liberty’s front
Clark is a 6-1, 295-pound defensive tackle who has already logged meaningful snaps at Appalachian State and Liberty, including 10 tackles in 2025 and a 21-tackle, 2.5-TFL, 1-sack season in 2023. His value is less about flashy production and more about dependable interior leverage, physicality, and experience in multiple defensive systems; Liberty even slotted him into a preseason All-CUSA fourth-team mention in 2025. He also appears durable enough to handle a regular rotation, though his impact profile is more complementary than disruptive.
