Carson Ryan is a low-usage guard with local roots and a grinder’s profile
In the 2024-25 season, Carson Ryan posted modest box-score numbers for Youngstown State, but his appeal is more about his background and role fit: he was a 1,000-point high school scorer and a multi-year starter-type leader at Struthers, suggesting toughness, poise, and a team-first mentality. He looks like a depth guard who can handle system basketball, bring energy, and compete on both ends, though his current production indicates he is more of a supporting piece than a high-usage creator.
