Brian Williams brings veteran size and interior toughness to SDSU’s defensive front
Brian Williams is a seasoned South Dakota State defensive tackle who has already shown he can hold up against big-time competition: in the 2021 season at Valdosta State, he posted 42 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks, and at SDSU he battled through a 2022 injury-plagued year before returning to add depth and disruption inside. He stands out for his power, experience and backfield-penetration upside, making him a fit for teams that want a rugged, battle-tested DT who plays with real snap-to-snap edge rather than flashy stats.
