Jayden Harper brings swing-and-miss upside, but Fullerton needed more consistency in 2026
In the 2026 season, Jayden Harper made 13 appearances and eight starts for Cal State Fullerton, finishing 0-2 with a 6.70 ERA, but he still missed bats at a solid clip with 49 strikeouts in 45.2 innings. He entered Fullerton as a lefty with weekend-starter potential after posting a 13.34 K/9 at Ohlone, and his five-inning no-hit start against Hawai‘i in 2025 showed the kind of nasty ceiling that makes scouts lean in. The fit? Real upside if you want a competitor with strikeout stuff; the caution flag is command and run prevention.
