Tracy Key brings veteran Ball State edge and run-stopping grit
In the 2026 season, Tracy Key is listed as a Ball State defensive lineman with a senior profile, 6-foot-2 and 232 pounds, and ESPN shows him with 8 solo tackles and 0 sacks so far[1][2]. His calling card is veteran experience and steady, physical play more than splashy production, which can matter if a team wants a dependable, mature DL who holds the line and understands leverage. He looks like a fit for programs that value toughness, depth, and assignment-sound defense over raw pass-rush fireworks[1][2].
