Michael Lareau is Belmont’s line-drive, on-base, outfield spark plug
Lareau brings a left-handed bat, size, and real run-production upside for Belmont, with the Bruins noting a .307 average, .861 OPS, 50 hits, 12 doubles, 4 homers, 30 RBIs, 46 walks, and 9 steals in the 2025 season. He also flashed a hot stretch in 2025, including a .516 clip over one 10-game span and a team-best .375 average in MVC play, which says his game plays up when the stakes rise. The differentiator: patient, athletic, and dangerous on the bases—very fit if a team wants a mature, multi-dimensional corner/center-field bat with juice and discipline.
