DJ Kelley brings veteran scoring pedigree and guard versatility to Sam Houston
Kelley is a proven college guard with a real scoring resume, having finished his Detroit Mercy career among the program’s all-time points leaders before continuing at Sam Houston, where ESPN lists him on the Bearkats’ roster. His appeal goes beyond box-score basics: he has demonstrated shot-making, backcourt experience, and the kind of competitive steadiness that helps a team stabilize guard play. If you need a veteran, offense-capable perimeter piece rather than a raw developmental project, Kelley is a sensible fit.
