Lewellyn Coker brings veteran grit and coach-pleasing reliability to Syracuse’s linebacker room
A senior linebacker from Warren, Ohio, Coker is a classic culture-fit player: physical, experienced, and praised for loyalty, enthusiasm, and perseverance, which Syracuse recognized with the Ray Martino Award in the 2013 season. Syracuse’s roster lists him at 6-1, 230 pounds, and while current game-by-game production is not publicly listed, his value is in steady effort, toughness, and team-first energy rather than splashy stats. If you want a dependable depth piece with proven buy-in and leadership traits, he’s the kind of player coaches usually love.
