veteran Richmond DB with ballhawk instincts and steady experience
Gabe Thomas is a long-time Richmond defensive back whose value shows up in timing, anticipation, and a track record of making plays on the ball. In the 2017 season, he posted 11 tackles against Elon, had an interception against Delaware, and recorded multiple pass breakups and interceptions that hinted at a true ballhawk skill set. What makes him interesting is the combination of size, experience, and defensive back instincts—he’s the kind of player who can fit a scheme that rewards discipline, toughness, and turnover creation.
