Steady, Experienced Virginia Wideout with Reliable Production
Covington’s appeal is less about flash and more about dependability: at Virginia, he produced 65 catches for 788 yards and 3 touchdowns, giving the Cavaliers a proven possession target with a respectable 12.1 yards per catch. His profile fits a team that values experience, consistency, and a receiver who can work the middle of the field and keep the offense on schedule. Publicly available sources don’t highlight major injury concerns or elite explosive traits, so the read is simple: a solid, trustworthy WR rather than a headline-grabbing star.
