Akron’s verified name is on the recruiting side, not the current Zips rotation
Taylor Ruper is listed by ESPN as a **signed Akron recruit** from North Royalton High School, where she played shooting guard, but the available sources do not show current college stats or a 2025-26 Akron game role for her. That means the best read is as a *prospect* rather than a proven contributor: the fit question hinges on whether her shooting-guard skill set and local familiarity translate into immediate depth and perimeter scoring.
