Brenton King gives Jacksonville State a reliable leg with proven kickoff power
Brenton King looks like a steady, high-floor specialist for Jacksonville State: in the 2024 season he went 5-for-6 on field goals, 15-for-16 on PATs, and averaged 59.3 yards per kickoff, showing both accuracy and field-flipping leg strength.[3] Recruiting evaluators also note that his drop-table work and technical refinements are paying off, which matters for consistency under pressure and suggests there may still be upside in both kicking and punting.[7] If you want a kicker who can be dependable on routine points and add hidden yardage on kickoffs, he fits that profile.[3][7]
