Kendrick Gilbert brings depth, length, and a developmental wing profile to UNLV
Kendrick Gilbert is a first-season walk-on for UNLV’s men’s basketball team, so his value is more about upside, energy, and roster flexibility than box-score production. At 6'5", the Las Vegas native offers size on the wing and has the local background that can make him a steady culture fit, but there is no major statistical track record yet to judge his college impact. For a team, he makes sense as a low-risk depth piece who can grow into a role if his effort, defense, and practice habits translate.
