Jay Creighton Brings Strike-Throwing Upside to FDU’s Rotation
In the 2026 season, Jay Creighton has shown real swing-and-miss potential for Fairleigh Dickinson, recording a 2-0 mark with a 1.64 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 11 innings, which suggests he can miss bats when his command is sharp.[3] At 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds, he profiles as a compact right-hander who can give a team competitive innings, though his impact will depend on whether he sustains the early-season efficiency he showed before his numbers later trended up in other stat feeds.[3][2][7] If you want a shorter arm with some bite and early success, he is worth a look.[3]
