Donte Wright brings shot-making pop to South Carolina State
Donte Wright has been a proven scoring guard for South Carolina State, with ESPN listing him at 12.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.9 assists in the season they track, while his earlier Bulldog career featured a school-record 95 threes in 2017-18 and multiple 20-plus point outbursts[1][3]. The big hook: he’s a fearless perimeter threat with deep-shot gravity and the kind of confidence that can swing a game fast; the caution flag is efficiency, since his long-term shooting percentages have been uneven[1][5]. If your team needs instant offense and edge, he’s a fit—if you need a pure table-setter, probably not[1][5].
