once a blue-chip DB prospect, but not a current Colorado Buffaloes player
There is no reliable evidence in the provided results that Yuri Wright is currently on Colorado’s roster; the available sources identify him as a former Colorado defensive back and a highly ranked Don Bosco Prep recruit whose recruiting path was disrupted by off-field social-media issues. His on-field differentiators were clear in high school—ball production, closing speed, and playmaking, with 83 career tackles, 9 interceptions, and 25 pass breakups—but the bigger context is character and fit risk rather than current performance. If you’re evaluating him for a team, the tape/profile says impact DB; the roster reality says verify status first.
