Austin Raphael brings old-school fullback grit to Fresno State
Austin Raphael is listed as a 6-foot-2, 225-pound fullback for Fresno State, a profile that screams physicality, lead-blocking, and short-yardage value rather than headline-grabbing box-score fireworks[1]. His best differentiators are toughness, versatility, and a proven “team-first” presence—older Fresno State coverage describes him as an intelligent, versatile back with a knack for getting tough yards and a leadership reputation, traits that matter a lot for a blue-collar role in a modern offense[7].
