Henry Hicks brings veteran size and backfield disruption to Liberty's defensive line
In the 2025 season, Henry Hicks showed up as a productive, high-effort interior defender for Liberty, finishing with 10 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and a forced fumble after transferring from Elizabeth City State[1][11]. At 6-foot-2 and 285 pounds, he profiles as a sturdy DL who can hold his gap, collapse the pocket in spurts, and add physicality; he also earned CIAA Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition, a nice clue that the motor and discipline travel beyond the stat sheet[1][11].
