Georgetown long snapper Robert Longwell is a steady, low-drama specialist with proven reliability
Robert Longwell is a classic snap-and-go specialist for Georgetown: the kind of player whose value shows up in clean operation, consistency, and hidden-field-position wins rather than flashy box-score stats. In Georgetown’s 2014 coverage notes, he was credited with converting all of his snaps, and the program’s historical roster lists him as a 6-foot-1 long snapper from McLean, Virginia. For a team needing a dependable special-teams piece, that reliability and role-specific focus are the sell; the upside is a polished, assignment-clean contributor who does one job and does it without drama.
