Sophie Tirtiaux brings size and versatility to Illinois State’s frontcourt
Sophie Tirtiaux is a forward for Illinois State with a profile that suggests a versatile European-style big: FIBA lists her as a Belgian player with an established international basketball background, which often translates to strong fundamentals, spacing awareness, and team-first play.[1][2] Reliable public stat detail on her current Illinois State production is limited in the available sources, so the key takeaway is fit rather than box-score dominance—she looks like a developmental frontcourt piece who could help a roster with skill, positional flexibility, and a polished approach.[1][2]
