Shawn Johnson brings NFL-sized length and edge-setting power to Delaware’s defensive front
At 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, Shawn Johnson profiles as a sturdy defensive end with the frame to hold the point of attack and the size to challenge tackles at the edge, making him the kind of lineman who can fit in a physical, gap-disciplined defense.[1][5][2] Delaware lists him as a senior defensive lineman, but public stat production is limited, so his value appears to come more from his build, role, and run-game presence than from headline numbers.[5] If you want a dependable, trench-first edge defender rather than a flashy stat-chaser, he looks like a sensible fit.[2][5]
