Jake Wilks brings captain-level leadership and proven Samford production
Jake Wilks is a former Samford running back who was named team captain in high school and, at Samford, was recognized for both football and academic achievement, including graduating with honors; that combination points to a disciplined, dependable back with strong character and football IQ rather than just raw athleticism.[2][4] He stands out as a fit for programs that value leadership, reliability, and off-field standards as much as on-field toughness and production.[2][4]
