Freshman **C/1B Bianca Lobosco** brings local grit to St. John’s depth chart
Lobosco is a freshman catcher/first baseman for St. John’s in the 2026 season, giving the Red Storm a versatile infield/catching option with Northeast roots and a profile that points to defensive value and development upside. In early 2026 results, St. John’s was 14-5 and ranked 20th in the Mid Major Top 25, with Lobosco appearing in game action as a bench bat and defender rather than as a high-volume offensive engine[1][2][3][6]. She looks like a fit for teams that value positional flexibility, physicality, and upside over instant-stat production[5][7].
