Dartmouth’s hard-hitting tackling anchor at linebacker
In the 2007 season, Joe Battaglia was Dartmouth’s top returning tackler and a hard-hitting linebacker who logged 56 tackles, including nine each against Cornell and Colgate, while also adding tackles for loss against Penn and Harvard. Dartmouth’s own scouting language calls him a candidate for All-Ivy League honors, which tracks with his reputation as an aggressive, reliable tone-setter in the middle of the defense. If a team wants a physical, experienced linebacker who brings intensity and downhill pop, Battaglia looks like a strong fit.
