Sylvester Willis brings interior value and veteran Saluki toughness
Willis has been a steady frontcourt contributor for Southern Illinois, with current production that includes modest scoring and rebounding but solid efficiency from the floor, while his longer-term SIU profile shows he was part of one of the program’s winningest stretches. He is most valuable as a physical, reliable big who does the dirty work, competes hard, and fits a team that needs toughness and low-maintenance interior minutes rather than a high-usage scorer.
