Ma'a Gaoteote brings linebacker length, instincts, and downhill edge to Michigan State
Ma'a Gaoteote is a 6-1, 230-pound junior linebacker at Michigan State who has appeared in 20 career games and logged 15 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 pass breakup, and 1 forced fumble as of the 2026 season. The differentiator is his feel for the game: early recruiting analysis praised him as instinctive, tough, and quick to diagnose plays, with the burst to close and the finishing power to strike when he arrives. If you want a linebacker with some proven game experience, physicality, and three-down upside, he’s a solid fit.
