Tulane's Historic Dual-Threat RB Legend
Mewelde Moore etched his name in NCAA history as only the second player ever to amass 4,000 rushing yards (4,364 on 909 carries, 4.8 YPC, 21 TDs) and 2,000 receiving yards in a career, totaling 6,505 all-purpose yards—11th all-time—while setting Tulane and C-USA records with 22 100-yard rushing games. His high-stepping style, straight-arm mastery, and explosive versatility made him a nightmare for defenses; a fourth-round NFL pick by the Vikings who won Super Bowl XLIII with the Steelers. Care about Moore? He's the ultimate differentiator for teams needing a dynamic, reliable RB with proven big-game intensity—no injury red flags, pure Louisiana grit.
