Purdue’s former Swiss-army-knife slot weapon
B.J. Knauf is best remembered at Purdue for his versatility: in the 2013 season, he logged 14 catches for 136 yards and a touchdown, added 14 rushing attempts for 92 yards and another score, and even handled 10 kickoff returns for 195 yards. He was a useful gadget player with speed and open-field juice, not just a straight-line receiver, which made him tough to game-plan for. The big caveat: his college career ended early in 2015, so he’s not a current on-field option, but he fits the profile of a dynamic, multi-use playmaker.
