veteran QB name on the roster, but the 2026 production picture is still cloudy
Branden Williams is listed on Winston-Salem State’s 2026 roster as a quarterback, but public stat lines for the current season are limited, so the cleanest read is that he’s more of a depth-chart name than a fully documented breakout star right now. ESPN still lists him as a Rams QB, while roster pages show he remains in the mix; that suggests value in experience and system familiarity, but not enough public evidence yet to crown him a confirmed high-volume playmaker. If a team wants a passer with upside and unknown ceiling, he’s worth a deeper look.
