LaShundreya Townsend brings interior size and defensive presence to Alabama State
Townsend is listed by ESPN as a **center** for Alabama State, and that role suggests her value comes from rim protection, rebounding, and physical play rather than empty scoring volume[1][2]. Because the available public data is sparse, there isn’t enough reliable stat detail here to judge her current production precisely, but her fit appears strongest for a team that needs a sturdy interior piece who can anchor the paint, defend, and do the gritty work that doesn’t always show up in box scores[1][2].
