Cory Rahman brings proven ball production and veteran stability to TSU’s secondary
In the 2021 season, Cory Rahman was a second-team All-OVC safety for Tennessee State, finishing with 65 tackles, 2 interceptions, 4 pass breakups, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery — the kind of stat line that says "do not throw over here." He was praised as a leader who arrived with a fast learning curve and still had room to grow in consistency, which suggests a dependable, instinctive defensive back with room to sharpen his game. Rahman also drew NFLPA Collegiate Bowl interest and later signed with the USFL’s Michigan Panthers, underscoring that he has pro-level traits and playmaking upside.
