Longwood RHP Connor Handy brings size, strike-throwing upside, and a low-mileage track record
Connor Handy is a 6'5", right-handed pitcher at Longwood whose profile is built around projection and efficiency: he arrived with strong prep credentials from Benedictine, was a First Team All-State selection, and has been used in a limited but steady role at the college level so far, including 7 appearances and 8.2 innings as a redshirt freshman. His appeal is the combination of power-frame potential, starter-style size, and a relatively fresh arm, which could make him a fit for a staff looking for development upside rather than an immediate finished product.
