Colin Spear gives Pacific a sturdy right-handed first-base bat with gap pop
In the 2026 season, Colin Spear emerged as a steady, if not thunderous, contributor for Pacific: .220 with 11 hits, 6 runs, 5 RBIs, and his first Tiger home run in 25 appearances. The appeal is the frame and fit — 6'2", 210, right-handed power potential, and enough contact ability to stay in the lineup while flashing a seven-game hitting streak. He looks like a useful lineup piece who can punish mistakes, but the current profile reads more solid college producer than impact middle-of-the-order anchor.
