Big-bodied Aztecs DL who’s still a developmental trench piece
JJ Glass is a 6'0", 270-pound San Diego State defensive lineman from San Juan Capistrano who has been described as a big body still learning the details of the Aztecs’ defense, which tells you the appeal is size, power, and upside rather than finished production. His profile points to a player who can occupy space and grow into a steady rotational fit, but his value hinges on how quickly he sharpens the technique and consistency that coaches have emphasized.
